Our client is a leading player in its sector, headquartered in Hong Kong with international business across various regions. They are primarily engaged in the TMT space, integrating emerging technologies in their service and product offerings.

 

As General Counsel of the Group, you will engage across the business in various regions and manage all legal and compliance matters, including: Provide legal advisory and support on daily operations as well as corporate transactions/projects in various regions; Advise the senior management on business strategies and ensure compliance with listing rules requirements and other regulations; Negotiate, draft and review various corporate and commercial agreements and legal documents for the group across Hong Kong, Greater China and other regions; Review corporate policies and enhance corporate governance framework; Act as point of contact with regulatory bodies and professional parties regarding compliance matters, as well as manage potential disputes and litigation matters. To qualify for this role, you are expected to be a Hong Kong legal practitioner with minimum of 8 – 15 (+) years PQE, with solid experience in corporate and commercial matters covering Hong Kong and PRC and: a) knowledge of listing rules compliance matters, M&A transactions, and/or b) experience with companies within the TMT sector. You are expected to possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, commercially minded, with fluency in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
