This role will focus on content protection objectives which include protecting intellectual property rights and supporting related security practices for creators of entertainment content. You will be part of a global team and responsible for managing all India based content protection and enforcement issues, working closely with law enforcement, government agencies and important stakeholders in India and the APAC region. You will advise on and execute content protection strategies for India, intermediary outreach, investigations and preparation of site/app investigation reports, research and analysis of online content including large datasets comprised internally and via third party resources. You must be a strong oral and written communicator with demonstrated experience of generating reports, assembling presentations and managing large data sets will little oversight. You will need to understand website analytics, illegal digital distribution models e.g., streaming protocol technologies and popular forms of content piracy. You will have experience distilling research on highly technical, complex subjects into easily digestible and actionable business reports. You will have and educational background and/or prior employment experience in content protection strategy, law enforcement (high tech crime/Internet investigations), computer science, digital media and/or media research.
